Our students will contact 3rd grade students at the American International School in Cairo, Egypt through ePals to talk about the differences and similarities between the way people in Africa recycle and the way people recycle in the United States. During project work time, our students can use blog, wikis, or video conference to talk about recycling. The useful information would give them a global view about how other countries recycle. This source would be helpful because the students in the American International School would speak the same language as our students.

The types of questions they might ask are:
1. Do you recycle?
2. Do you have recycling centers near you?
3. Do you have mandated recycling?
4. What can you recycle?

The students will use the information they find and put it in their final project in the digital books. This research will help them think more globally about their projects. It will be interesting for them to learn about other students, especially in a different country. Showing them the Google map we have created will let them see how far away these other students really are.
